My business hit six figures within my first year — rare, I know. And when it did, I assumed the next level was obvious: build more. More offers, more automation, more team. I genuinely believed that's what scaling required of me.
I wasn't struggling. Revenue was good and growing. But I kept entering rooms that relied heavily on conversion optimization and funnel psychology, expecting one of them to finally have the answers. Those approaches work for plenty of people — they just never addressed my actual problem.
I didn't need to do more. I needed to be held to more.
What I was missing wasn't strategy — it was standards. I needed to challenge what I believed was required for success and recalibrate to new ideas about how wealth, freedom, and impact could coexist.
The shift happened when I began investing in rooms with mentors and peers who were building what I wanted: million-dollar businesses on radically simplified models. Women allowing themselves to work fewer hours, earn disproportionately more, and changing the frequency of every room they entered.
Being in those rooms changed everything. No one gave me a new strategy — it wasn't needed. Instead, proximity to different standards recalibrated what I believed was possible. My business finally started growing again because I stopped tolerating my old learned low standards. It grew because I stopped settling for less just because more seemed impossible or unrelatable.
